Just wanted to give y'all heads up that I'll have my webcam on in the studio while I'm starting some new paintings. I'm hoping to be online for at least an hour, but it could possibly be less because we have some one coming tomorrow to do a repair on our fridge (you know how that whole four hour window goes....you never know when they'll show up).
So I hope you'll pop in on me over at my Ustream channel Paulette Paints LIVE tomorrow. If you want to leave me a message there on the chat window, you'll have to join Ustream in order to do that. I always read them after I stop broadcasting, but can't see them while I'm broadcasting 'cause I'm still using my phone to do the live video stream. :D
xoxo
giving live broadcasting from the studio another go....just testing things out for a short little bit today to see how it goes. if all goes well, then i'll try to broadcast from my brush caddy webcam (my iphone propped up in my tabletop brush caddy lol!) a couple times each week.
i'm just gonna be painting (and you'll probably hear me singing along to music too....i do that) and not answering questions, but you'll get a peek at my process. hope you'll join me! xoxo
edit:
that was cool! many of you peeked in on me and left me little notes around the web to let me know you enjoyed it. yea! i'm gonna try to do it again tomorrow morning for a while....starting around 9:30am pst. hope you can stop by!
if you missed out today, you can view a recorded clip of my afternoon broadcast at my Ustream channel Paulette Paints LIVE. :D
more works in progress....started these friday night while waiting on my hubby to get home. drew the shapes in on the smaller one (which is on cardbard...a recycled priority mail box) on sunday afternoon after church. my art still seems to be evolving and i find myself wondering where God's gonna take it next. excited and a bit scared all at once....know what i mean?

The original paintings below are for sale by the person who originally purchased them. She had some unforeseen circumstances occur and is having to sell them. She's asking $180 each plus shipping. She hopes to find good homes with someone who will cherish them as she did. Contact me for her email addy if you're interested. Act fast as imagine she won't have them for long. :) xoxo
i've been busy trying to get things ready for another session of my "all about faces" mixed media portrait class that starts this monday. aiden's pretty sick right now, poor guy, so it's been a bit slow going....just trying to do what i can while making sure he's resting and stays as comfortable as possible.
i'll be sending out invites tomorrow evening some time to the private class blog, so you still have a chance to sign up before the class begins. everything is available for you on the first day of class, so you can go at your own pace. below is a slide show of some of my past students work.
this is the last time i plan to offer this class, so if you've been waiting to sign up this is your last chance to take this class.
all i kept thinking while listening to him talk during this video, was yes, yes, YES!!! he's one of my favorite artists! love to watch him paint!! the freedom just sings from his work!
Anyone else besides me have this problem? I start another painting before I finish the last one! It's a sickness I tell ya! LOL! Guess that's why I have too many almost finished paintings sitting around.
This is for my Inspired class coming up in May. It'll be good to have a sample to take with me of a darker skin tone. Plus, I need to let my students know what they'll need for this type of skin tone. It's still in progress, but it's almost done...well, the portrait part anyway. :) feels good to play with paint again...it's been way too long!
