Paulette, it's great to see you stretching yourself and playing -- doing something that is less "structured" and out of your "usual" format!! It's looking good!

Hi Paulette!
I love your abstract paintings! They are so rich with color and texture! It is so great to check back here and see what you've been up to! I've missed your classes and look forward to what you are going to offer in the future!
Speaking of your classes, I finally completed and posted the two pieces I did for your Faces class on my blog. Check it out and see what you taught me!! :) http://tatteredartstudio.blogspot.com/2008/10/painting-faces.html
Take care,
Jennifer

Thank you so much Sherry and Jennifer! I really appreciate your encouragement!!! I've been feeling the pull to get outside of my comfort zone for a while and working abstractly is exactly what I need right now. It feels really wonderful to stretch myself artistically and explore other styles of painting.
Jennifer, I checked out the post on your blog and WOW!!!! You did an amazing job on your class paintings!!! I so hope you'll continue to do mixed media portraits because obviously God has given you the gift for it!!! You go girl!!
