That's what the themometer read at 6am this morning when I checked Aiden's temperature. He started complaining yesterday evening that his ear was hurting, which quickly turned into screaming. So, I gave him a dose of Motrin to ease the pain and made a mental note to call the doctor first thing in the morning. Little did I know things would escalate so quickly. We were up and down most of the night so I'm operating on almost no sleep...the venti latte from Starbucks I had on the way back from the dr. is helping to keep me awake for the moment. I may have to make a pot of coffee here pretty soon to get me through the rest of the day.
I just wanted to update y'all so if you were waiting to hear back from me on something, you'd know why I haven't responded. I'm typing this from my phone since if I leave the room, Aiden won't stay on the couch and rest. Please keep us in your prayers. Thanks so much!
Update:
Aiden is doing much better. Thank you all for your get well wishes, hugs, and your prayers! I appreciate them soooooo much!! Now taking care of myself....well that's a whole different thing all together. Got so much going on right now, so that is becoming increasingly difficult. Just trying to hang in there and get through the next few weeks....then maybe I can breathe again! LOL! -- Love y'all!! xoxo
Oh the poor wee thing!! That's a mighty high temperature and ear aches/infections?!? Oh they are so painful. We moms just "know" when those have hit. I'm glad you've had him to the doctor and some antibiotic will begin to make him feel better soon. Sending you love, hugs and prayers -- and you will need a good night of sleep yourself!

Wow that's high...hope he is feeling better soon! :) Good job on the Motrin...it works so much better on fevers than tylenol. Learned that the hard way.
Hugs!

Hi Paulette
So sorry to hear Aiden is unwell .Hope he is better soon poor little darling.
My daughter Hollie used to suffer really bad with earache and tonsils , it's not nice to see them suffer as you can't really do anything to ease the pain , but be there to comfort them.
Love Lorraine xx

If you have one of those cherry pit packs or rice packs, you can pop it in the microwave and let Aiden hold it on his ear if this happens again. (They won't burn like a heating pad might.) I hope you all get a bit of rest and that he heals quickly!
