I'm off to bed, but I thought I'd post a few more progress pictures to show you how much I managed to get done on this new painting this evening. I would work on it more, but I'm having a hard time keeping my eyes open and Aiden's getting up earlier and earlier these days so I'd better hit the hay. Please excuse the not so great quality of these pics....I didn't turn on all my lights here in the studio, so they may be a little blurry or grainy, but I just couldn't wait to share! :) Nighty nite y'all!! xo
It's looking great Paulette. I gotta tell you when I saw it, though, I laughed, because just last evening I was sketching and sketched a girl looking over toward some trees, pretty much like your painting here.

This is turning out so nice, love it! I normally work doing the background first but I like how yours is coming out doing the focal point before the background. Absolutely darling!

Hi Paulette! I can't remember how I found your blog, but oh do I love it!!! And I think I'm gonna sign up for your "faces" class...because that's something I have always struggled with. You do such a wonderful job...thank you for sharing your gift with us!

Wow - this is beautiful. I can't wait to see the finished work. I'm counting down the days until the organic backgrounds class starts. It looks as though several others have signed up from my blog posting. We all went to Inspired together! When Donna posted that you are teaching next year, I was flooded with email from my fellow Inspirees notifying me of the big news! Yea!!!
