Music that moves me..."Set The World On Fire"

Being creative is not a single act, but the act of living itself. The creative woman is on fire with imagination, ignited by the certainty of her relationship with a living God and her surety of purpose. She lives in freedom, not measuring herself by the lives around her. She takes calculated risks, understanding the value of going beyond the horizon of the known and coming back to report what she has discovered. She tackles life's challenges with heart, hands, and faith.

Below is a video on YouTube of Britt Nicole singing her song "Set The World On Fire" live on a California radio station. It's a song that I just can't get enough of lately and it just relates so perfectly to how I feel about things going on in my life & art. At the beginning of the video, she talks about the meaning behind the song. I hope you'll give it a listen. :)

It's been so busy around here lately and it's left me no time to post. I hope to get back to posting regularly really soon. Speaking of being busy, Aiden's got a lunch playdate in about an hour, so I'd better get a move on. Hope everyone is doing great! xoxo

I came across this touching and inspirational article today while looking at articles on Etsy's online zine, The Storque. Kathi is a full time caregiver for her husband who was diagnosed in 1999 with A.L.S., better known as Lou Gehrig's Disease. She makes amazing jewelry (of which I now am a proud owner of a pair of her lovely earrings) and her Etsy shop is one of the main sources of her income. She is such an inspiration and I hope you will go on over and read her article and also browse around her beautiful shop.
