thanks y'all for all your sweet and lovely words about this new work!
meaghan, i'm in total love with this painting! i just keep staring at it....and i can't wait to start another tomorrow. i had been feeling that there was a shift coming up with my work, but until now i had no idea how huge! i've been in an incubation period all summer i guess. lol! taking mystele's class was the final piece it seems. now it's all falling into place. :) i don't think i'm quite done growing and stretching yet, but i already feel as if i've jumped the biggest hurdle.
oh i just love mystele's class! she's such a sweetie and i love her to pieces! i've been following her and her work for a while via her blog. she's such an encourager and a natural teacher! i highly recommend taking her class if she offers it again! I took it to grow and stretch myself, but it is also for those searching for their creative voice.

Paulette, I really like this. I was afraid you were getting into a rut. Good to see you growing. Keep up the good work. You are awesome.

WOW!! You know I love it. I hope you keep creating more of these kinds of paintings because they are so unique. You inspired me to try my hand at letting the background create the painting and speak to me. It was fun.
