Pulled art ... I have done some pieces like this, especially a lot of my journal pages. Nice to have a name for it. Going to check out Mystele's blog now.

Happy to see you starting up again Paulette, creatively I think many of us go through those slumps but I think it's our way of regrouping & recharging...perhaps we aren't painting but we are reading, journaling, considering/mulling over whispers...ideas that are floating around our subconscious... until they become such a strong voice that we must get them out, they must be born! I too love me some Mystele and totally agree, Pulled Art is such an apt term for that way of creating!

Okay I'm 3 for 3 now...LOL but I was reading down in my Google reader and came upon this post and thought how true, that is the other side of it..that yes it's good to wait for the whispers but that it's also good to work through the slumps as well...anyhoo thought you'd find it interesting as well Paulette;

Lovely Paulette...so glad things are settling down for you around you house with the kitchen redo and all this summer. I just checked out Mystele's blog and love her authentic work as well. Thanks for sharing and look forward to seeing more of your work as well. Fondly, Roberta

This will be awesome Paulette! I love finding faces in things, even clouds and wood grained doors :)
Can't wait to see how this turns out!
