Wondering what I've been up to???

I've been frantically busy workin' on my painting that will serve as my class marquee (just a fancy way of sayin' sign ;) ) for my classes at Inspired. next week. It's my largest painting to date...18"x24". She's not done yet...but almost. I gotta take a break now thought because I've started shaking from hunger. LOL! Hope y'all are havin' a great Thursday. xoxo

Music from the studio

i'm busy working in the studio today (finally got "inspired" for my inspired. class door sign lol!) and i've been listening to my favorite band third day while i paint. i looooooooove mac's voice and i can just get lost in his voice and the lyrics while i'm working. i find that when i'm trying to control the creativity, instead of letting it come through me, things just don't work. it's only when i let go of the process that it comes easily. listening to music that moves my spirit and touches my soul helps soooo much! so, i just had to share one of my favorite songs that's i've been listening to today. enjoy!!! now it's back to work for me. :)

Getting ready for a trial run

Busy gettin' ready for some friends to come over later this week to
help me with a trial run of my Inspired class. Also, my studio has
exploded out into our living room as a result LOL! So I gotta get that
all put away....who knows where?!?! ;)

Gosh I can hardly believe it's almost time and there's still so much
left to do, so I'd better get to it. Have a blessed Monday y'all!!!

A belated Happy Easter!!

I meant to pop on here yesterday to wish everyone a quick Happy Easter, but I never managed to. I was so touched by a song we sang during our Easter service communion at church yesterday that I wanted to share it with y'all. Wishing you hope and a happy belated Easter! xoxo

Spring is here, but...

Well it seems spring finally arrived here in Oregon (it's been
unseasonably cold lately), but unfortunately I haven't been able to
enjoy it because I'm sick. Every time I sit down to catch up in
emails, I seem to go into a coughing fit. Just wanted to let y'all
know what was going on just in case you were waiting to hear from me.
Aiden's sick with this too, but hopefully we won't pass it back and
forth.

Well I'd better sign off now before the coughing starts up again. I'll
post another video blog for y'all once I'm feeling better. Thanks for
all the vlog love!! xoxo

Video - On our way home from Alabama

i realized this afternoon that i could upload .AVI files directly to viddler. woo hoo!! now i can share all these videos i have in iphoto that i shot with my little point and shoot canon. so here's a quick video of Aiden being silly on the plane ride home. it's a little dark, but you still see his handsome face. :D

Here's a video blog (as promised) that I recorded a couple of days ago with a partial update of what i've been up to lately....a bit rambly, but my brain was kind of mush that day LOL! Excuse all the "and, um's"...like I said, I was more scatterbrained than usual ;)
