Wow! Two posts in one day!!! I haven't done that in a while! LOL! I've had many people ask me to show what my studio looks like and I thought I'd shoot a quick little video of my work table while waiting on my easel to arrive today. And for some reason I keep putting June 30th on everything today...not sure why 'cause I know today's the 20th....weird. ha, ha
Now I'd better get a movin'....this "quick" little video ended up taking me most of the morning to get up here. Isn't that always how it goes...something you think you can do really quick ends up taking hours. LOL And now I'm even more behind on getting orders out today. Have a great Friday y'all!! xo

My studio is the back of my living room and believe you me that I have to work hard to not have that chaos migrate elsewhere. lol.

I know what you mean 'cause I have the same problem. Mine is in our formal dining room (which was never used as an eating area) and it's open to the living room. So when you walk in our front door, it's one of the first things you see. My hubby's constantly giving me a hard time about how messy it is, but when I do manage to get it cleaned up its always back in the same state shortly thereafter. LOL ;)

I am grinning from ear to ear...this looks JUST LIKE my art table in my living room!!! Too funny...we certainly are a free-spirited and untamed bunch aren't we???
Wow...that easel is amazing...but you can't wait. Now I have easel envy...lol.

I feel better in that I am not the ONLY messy artist out there. Where is this located in your house and do you have trouble keeping Aiden out of your stuff? I have a terrible time with my little ones getting into my stuff, but I have to wrangle 3 little boys,(wish it was just 1), and give baby Max some time and he'll fall in line right with the others...ha! I use my formal dining room table and always have to clean it up after each painting time and I hate that, we don't use it much, just when we have big family gatherings, but I have to clean it up cause of the kids and hubby is always on my case about it being out! Oh well, I told him, then build me a room outside in the backyard and I'll be fine! I think he's thinking REAL hard about that one....lol! Take Care....Kim

The table where I work looks just like this- well maybe even worse- I have sketching stuff around as well as I am in the midst of planning my next painting while I wait for the current one to dry!! The only good thing is it is in my sewing/craft room so I can shut the door and no one else sees my mess! Congrats on the new easel!
